Description

Harlem Stonegate boasts an amazing 1860's stone farmhouse with wraparound veranda and adjoining 60’ x 30’ post-and-beam carriage barn, originally built to support a 200-acre dairy farm. The stone farmhouse was renovated in the mid 1990’s to restore it to its period charm -- original pine floors, gable ceiling and 2-foot external stonewalls.

The current property is approximately 50-acres and includes: 5 post-and-beam barns, built in the 1930‘s in a courtyard style configuration on bedrock (a storage barn, 2 large multi-bay barns, a newly renovate workshop barn and a fascinating majestic post-and-beam bank barn with 2 attached wooden silo’s and one freestanding concert silo), a 20’ x20’ stone barn/cabin (2’ thick stone walls), tranquil sugar bush, peaceful waving hayfields, and serene wetlands.

The location is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and plenty of land to house equipment.

We are located along the Rideau Canal Water System, 6km east of Portland, ON; 3 hrs from Toronto or Montreal; 45 min north of Kingston; 70 min south of Ottawa.
